MDA Quality Assurance Program
MDA’s corporate commitment to quality delivers customer satisfaction through products and services that meet the requirements of our clients including the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), DIA, NRL and the Army. We have used our processes to deliver high quality products to our clients for over 45 years. Dedication to the ongoing improvement of products, services and a QMS is imperative to meeting the evolving needs of our customers. Our Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2008 certified with no exclusions and we make certain that all of our teammates are compliant with both ISO 9001 standards and our QMS.
MDA has established a team of professionals that are principally responsible for creating, maintaining, updating, and implementing the QMS, to provide the highest possible level of quality across projects. Our quality team is led by the Quality System Manager (QSM). The QSM reports directly to senior management and is responsible for complete oversight of MDA’s QMS.
MDA’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) functions operate on both the processes used to create products and the products themselves. We conduct measurement and monitoring tasks to achieve product conformity throughout the course of project performance according to each individual task order Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and our QMS standard processes. Our documented processes are monitored regularly and measured for effectiveness using recorded metrics. Figure 1 shows our iterative approach for the control and continuous improvement of processes and products.
